The current tendencies of development of the modern economy open new horizons of economic security. One of the tendencies is growth of interest to “green” economy – the economic system in which a lot of attention is paid to the issues of environment protection in the interests of prevention of ecological crises – due to adoption of the global goals in the sphere of sustainable development in 2015 - 2030 and their implementation under the guidance of the UN. This stimulates the development of ecological security as a new component of economic security, which is ensured by creation and implementation of “green innovations” into economic activities and manifestation of corporate ecological responsibility.
Another tendency is connected to formation of “knowledge economy”, in which knowledge is the highest value and technologies as formalized knowledge and human resources as sources of new knowledge are considered to be the most important production factors. Within this tendency, a new horizon of economic security is protection of intellectual property, which effectiveness determines conditions for creation, dissemination, and usage of knowledge in economy.
The third tendency is formation of digital economy, in which digital data dominate. Together with advantages (e.g., automatization of processing and analysis of data) of the digital form of data presentation, there are also drawbacks that are connected to the risks of their loss, distortion, or theft. That's why another horizon of economic security is provision of information security – i.e., protection of digital information.
This conference is to specify and expend the modern concept of economic security of economic systems and to offer the scientific and methodological provision of its measuring and management.
